We all know the popular children's show "Thomas the tank engine and Friends", which along with the Railway Series books, formed part of many's childhoods. However, the Rev. Wilbert Awdry, along with the production crew of the TV show had to get rid of many details and characters. As it's usually the way of life, not all is sunshine and rainbows in the Island of Sodor...

The Island of Sodor: The New Stories.
The world of Sodor is a treasure trove of story opportunities. Whether it's the books or the show, the Thomas universe is never short on stories to be told. There is already plenty of fan content for Thomas and Friends. Most content tries to keep the lore of the Railway Series and sprinkle concepts from the TV series into the mix. I am no different, but I tried to make my take on this universe unique. This is something that has been in the works for the past few years. It has taken plenty of refinement, revision and lots of research. At long last, I've written something to be proud of.
The Island's Swansong

But as their market success strayed further from the truth, and with the world around the Island changing, the final adventures of the engines of Sodor were lost to history. In a different world, where society has moved on from steam and diesel engines of old, one urban explorer makes a pilgrimage to the lost, deserted Island, hoping uncover what happened to the famous engines. Fallout Beyond Sodor
Thomas steals a goods train from James in order to go to the mainland and see the world. All in all, things seem fine at first with him meeting engines from the other railway. However, several shady things start going on. The main one being the newly constructed Power Plant which is already bringing a sense of unease within the first few months of it first being established. Unfortunately, things soon go wrong as Thomas is not only imprisoned, but not long after, all hell breaks loose. Will Thomas The Tank Engine and his friends, both new and old, survive this nightmare?
