PLEASE READ FRESHMEN AND SOPHOMORE YEAR FIRST!

To get a rainbow, you must go through rainstorms, and they saw a multitude of precipitation. Just before the sun could come out, the dark clouds had to clear up first. Instead, they grew larger. Completely free from college and doing his own thing, Shai Carter was heading down a smooth road of comfortability. He had his AAU team up and running, and his players were elite. He was the manager at the YMCA and was helping his community every chance that he could. Family was long gone and he didn't have to deal with their drama. He had a stunning wife who he loved dearly and a baby on the way. Things seemed to be going wonderful, as he wanted, until it wasn't. He was supposed to be in San Francisco playing for the Warriors but he wasn't ready for the commitment. To make matters worse, his past was making a wrap around to throw him off course. He was at the point where nothing could get under his skin, but the rain was still unbearable. Even the bad storms that refused to stop.

From birth, her life had been nothing other than rainbows and sunshines. She had her slight storm and the rain poured every now and then. But there were still some clouds lingering around through her day with droplets of rain. Entering her junior year of college, Dess had finally found the appropriate time to get her life on track. Healed from the passing of her father, her journey to new beginnings was on. She was working, had a wonderful and caring husband, and a baby. Everything was just as good as it was before even with the slight changes in precipitation every now and then. But would it stay that way? A lingering question sheshe to deal with while the thunderstorms and tornadoes came her way.

And as for Shamar, his life has been sunny days and rainbows. He had everything he needed from millions in his pockets to half-naked girls in his home. Yet, he wanted one thing more than others; Shai. His happiness. His joy. And his life.

This is its own book! You can ready the Bambi series for a back story but this can be read alone! "Kyrie! I'm home baby I'm sorry for missing your play! I heard it was really good and I had Ms.Rain record for me" I laugh to myself and put the bags I got away. "Kyrie?!" I yell and he didn't answer. I got done with everything I was doing and went to our room seeing him sleep in our bed peacefully. There was a note beside him and I read it feeling my heart get torn reading how he waited for me to come home. "I'm sorry baby" I whispered and kissed his soft cheek. Something dropped in the kitchen and I jumped getting startled by the sound but also panic at the fact it's only Kyrie and I here. "What the fuck?" I mumbled under my breath and grabbed my pistol from my locked draw. I stepped out the room locking the door from the inside just in case and started walking down the hall with my gun up. My foot steps where light trying not to make any noises for whoever could be in here, I made it to the end of the hall and took a deep breath before popping out from my spot ready to shoot but nobody appeared, everything was normal causing my body and mind to instantly relax. "Oh thank god" I rub my head and laugh to myself. I shook my head feeling silly walking into the living room seeing the view of New York buildings and sky scrapers through the big window feeling content with everything. I let out a deep breath and once I relaxed getting enough of looking outside I turned around and jumped, frozen in my spot not moving a limb terrified seeing a figure standing in front of me with a strong scent of weed and cologne putting their hand to my jaw dragging their cold thick thumb across my bottom lip before smirking getting closer to my face feeling their breath in my face. "Daddy's home..."

It was 5 years later. Time has changed. The seasons came and gone as did people. With his parents troublesome separation, 19-year-old Kairo was growing into the man he once aspired to be like; his father. But just because he looked and moved like him, didn't mean that he was anything like the man who had fucked up a good thing with his mom, or was he? He had girls, older and younger gawking and chasing after him. His family saw him as one person but in their absence, touring the streets with young Zaire, he was a different person. Despite all of that, there was love brewing; old and new and Kairo was aware of one in particular. But how far would a person be willing to go for love? Would they die for it? Could he stand back and watch another man love the woman that his father should have? Kairo knew of the man in his mother's life even if she tried to deny things. The only question he had for his father was; What Will It Take? Zaire was a lot like his father in many ways but he was still a sweetheart but proved on many occasions that he had no problems with getting his hands dirty. When you put those two together, you were bound to get into trouble. Then we had Ava, baby girl was 20 going on 21 and had graduated high school with honors and earned her associate's degree in nursing and was currently working on her last two years to earn her bachelors in fashion. She was still friends with Kayla and Michelle but was sure to kick it with Michelle every once in a while, being that her father was still trying to dig up dirt on King. The twins were grown, out of college, traveling here and there and supporting the Goonies' success of being drafted into the NBA two years ago. They were playing for the Phoenix Suns for the time being until a newer opportunity presented itself and they visited as often as they could during the offseason. Sweet little Assyria was 16, in her junior year with Zaire, both ready to get the heck out of school. ©️_jasthewriter
