Gabriel es un estudiante universitario que va en su último año, siente que las cosas en su vida no van del todo bien, aún debe algunas materias de años anteriores, se peleó con sus compañeros de tesis por lo que tendrá que empezar de cero, su romies se fueron así que tendrá que pagar el arriendo por su cuenta, entre otras "penurias" que busca solucionar a través de una invocación, es así que tras una noche de borrachera, logra invocar a un demonio pero no se da cuenta de eso hasta varios días después, cuando llega a su vida un extraño sujeto que le dice que será su nuevo compañero.

Kaneonuskatew, or Kane, was known as one of the most prolific demons after his murder of an esteemed adviser's daughter. He came under the most scrutiny when it was revealed that he had fallen in love with that daughter, who just happened to be half angel. Their love was forbidden, so when she was murdered by his hand, he was sent by Lucifer to live in the church where the adviser lived. His main purpose was to be a guard and basically a slave to whatever the adviser, James, wanted. While being there, he met James' niece, who looked just like the girl he had fallen in love with. However, those were the least of his problems. Things start to change for Kane and he starts to learn about his past. He begins questioning his position with the demons, wondering how everything suddenly changed. He learns of his past and how his entire life up to this point was based on a lie created by the one he calls father: Lucifer himself. Now, the fight is with Kane, where he tries to battle what he's become and what's expected of him compared to he was and who he could have been.
