With the spread of the newly formed Galactic Empire, surviving Jedi are forced into hiding. After the events of Order 66, the massacre of the Jedi Order spread throughout the united systems like a wildfire. One such follower of this dead religion, a young boy named Cal Kestis, is forced to live in exile as a scrapper to hide his identity and keep his life. 

He follows three simple rules.

Don't stand out. 

Accept the past. 

Trust. No One.

What happens when a pilot, a survivor, and a doctor reveal his days as a Jedi might not yet be over?

Can hope be rekindled once more?

Don't call me insane, I know I am. One of them drills into me and I can't get it out. The ghost had told me, they loved droids so much, they became one. I don't know who they are? Me? Let's hope not. I then heard a strange, mechanical sounding, yet familiar voice from the bushes around me. "It's not." She answered. "It's me."

Cal Kestis is a Jedi, a former Padawan who survived Order 66 after the death of his Master, Jaro Tapal. After escaping the Second Sister, and meeting the crew on the Mantis, Cere and Greez aren't the only ones he meets. Kylin Gailes is a human girl from Coruscant, living in a small home after the death of her parents. But when Order 66 destroyed the Jedi Order, Kylin was forced to live in the streets. She believes in the Jedi Order, and wished it could be restored. Five years after Order 66, and still living in the streets, Kylin gets picked up by the Mantis, staying with the crew for five months before Cal's arrival. Now, as Cal begins his journey to restore the Jedi Order, he and Kylin journey through the galaxy to restore peace and fight the Empire. But as the journey continues, Cal doesn't see Kylin as just a friend anymore. Can he keep his head in the game while protecting Kylin? Or will he screw up and get them both killed?
