Euijoo has nonverbal autism, but when he moves to a new town, a boy in his neighborhood gets hired by the school to be Euijoo's helper. ⚠️tw for abuse, ableism and homophobia (also if I get the logistics wrong of having nonverbal autism, please let me know! I'm autistic but not nonverbal so im open to constructive criticism. euijoo can talk but he shuts down in certain situations, and because of past trauma he doesn't talk until he feels safe with people. He had learned to speak in the past, but it takes a lot to remember how to pronounce certain words and sounds.) italics for in euijoo's head, and 'text like this' when he uses his text to speech program.

Aiden's life is far from perfect. He gets abused by his father and his mother left him. Then there's school. He is constantly being bullied because he's gay. But when his main bully seems to be taken a liking to him, will things finally change for the better? Trigger warnings: This book is under edit for trigger warnings. The first few chapters have triggers that the original poster was not aware of so I am going chapter by chapter to edit those in but there is a lot of material and I don't want to miss something. There is talk of abuse, self-harm, and rape. Mostly all in first half of story, hopefully updated version with those warnings will be up soon. Thank you all
