Small Sparks

Two young students from the third layer of Taihren, Ddaer, learn something they were never supposed to. Come along with them on their journey to figure out just what the Ancients are planning, and if they can save their home in time.

"Parker walked past the children playing and eventually came to a stop. They weren't at Winona's dormitory yet, but they noticed something unusual. The alleyway. The old gateway to Dan, a now abandoned city, lost to dark creatures made of pure Tywyll energy. An unsettling sight, usually avoided by many. The air didn't seem as clear there, you couldn't hear anything besides the staticky shrieks of whatever tainted creatures lie beyond. A place left untouched by humankind nowadays, but Parker swore they heard perfectly audible words coming from deeper into the alleyway."

This is set in a fantasy setting, but it is also in a much more futuristic time than a lot of fantasy stories. It's a little confusing at first, but most of the terminology is explained throughout the story. I'll try to update as frequently as possible, enjoy!
