Her power and money has not only helped the land of Italia regain some of its former glory, but now has drawn attention to herself by the Holy Roman Empire. The Franks have pushed for years but struggle to gain territory in Italia due to Venice's secret weapon, Crest Knights.

Nico Cornaro can't wait to be promoted to the rank of Crest Knight Commander. He has worked hard these past five years to gain popularity among the people. With the powers of a Crestborn either inspiring hope or spreading fear, He works hard to become a name people can trust. But only Knight Commanders and higher ranks are given the best missions, the kind of missions that can give any Knight legendary status. If only getting promoted was his only problem. Instead he finds himself under arrest, accused of attempting to assassinate a Councilman, and sentenced to death during his trial.

Luckily, the Council is convinced to give Nico another punishment. To be stripped of his knighthood, and to complete ten dangerous labors of service to prove his innocence. He now must use all his super human skills as a Crestborn and his years of training as a Knight to leave home and face his labors. But will the land of Italia aid or punish as he navigates extreme and ancient regions, meet new and interesting friends, face off against powerful enemies, and uncover hidden plots against his home.
