It seems someone has sparked an interest in the Monkey King's successor.
What was a simple villain-of-the week quest may unfold to be much more complicated than MK and his friends had thought previously, especially for the Monkey Boy. But more on that in the story.

This is my first ever story on Wattpad, and I am still a beginner writer. I've had a few ideas pop into my head while going through different wattpad stories on the platform, so I hopped onto my laptop and thought, why not try it myself?
Onto the actual story; I guess I'll be updating the description as it goes along! If this doesn't work out, well, it's a pity that I just typed this whole description :,)

[LMK x F!Reader] [6k - 22k word chapters] Your dad wanted help at the noodle shop, sure you love him to bits and pieces but you simply don't have the time of day to be doing things like this. He offered to pay you as much as he could for your help, but seeing as it was well under what you normally earned at your current job, you had to reluctantly deny his offers. Besides, you live halfway across the city and you have training with your mentor, this isn't something you couldn't just throw away with ease. Upon the third call though, you finally folded, as the desperation in your fathers voice was evident and you were tired of being, what you'd like to call, a shitty daughter. So, you told your mentor about your knew schedule, to which he was more than happy to adjust his schedule as well, he seemed more than happy oddly enough. CURRENTLY IN THE PROCESS OF REWRITING OLD CHAPTERS, if you suddenly see a jump of quality from an older to some newer chapter, that's because I haven't finished rewriting the older ones yet. _____ A Demon "villain" and a hero? Friends? Or even more? that's something Red son couldn't imagine. Red son, is a fire bull demon, who's trying to be bad, but with Mk around it's.. not always going according to plan. He doesn't understand what love is, and his Parents aren't so great at teaching. he lived confused and scared for a few hundred years, but he never thought about changing anything. He believed that his parents knew best. Mk is an optimistic extrovert, who can do anything if he believes in it. Everyone thinks he's just like before getting his powers but.. he's not. He struggles with PTSD and severe trauma. He thinks everything that happened was his fault, and he lives scared that he'll do another stupid thing that'll change the world to worse. Even tho he really wants to be friends with Red Son, he's scared that he'll make another persons life worse because of him. Even after those thoughts, he still will do anything to help those in need. What was that? A lost monkey? A shadow? A demon? At this point, who knows. He certainly can't tell. MK's eyes and ears start to play cruel tricks on him. He starts seeing and hearing strange things that nobody else can. And, for some reason, he always feels the need to draw whenever something odd occurs. Doing so helps, but not for long.
