Our feet hit the pavement, over and over. My lungs burn as I struggle to get enough air. We made it to the access road. Somehow, with a broken arm and a knife embedded in her stomach, this woman is till chasing us and isn't slowing down.

I look back and notice that she has actually started to catch up. Cam and I are fit but we can't keep this up. My foot hits something. My feet twist. I look forward in time to see pavement. My hands reach out to break my fall. The breath gets knocked out of me. I scramble.

I know I don't have time to fall. I can't breathe. I need to move. I hear her rattling chest and groaning reach me.

I'm going to die.
