Maddelyn Rider, a girl who is just trying to make it through her senior year, is dragged to her best friend's boyfriends's hockey game. She knows nothing about hockey, but that doesn't stop her and her friends from getting involved with four of the star players on the team, including her bestfriend's boyfriend, Joey.

Joey Smith, the star center of Brooks High School, a guy just trying to make his last year a good one. Focused on his hockey team and partying, he makes sure to make time for girls too. When he gets introduced to his girlfriend's friend group, he particularly notices one girl... a girl he shouldn't notice. One he shouldn't care about, he shouldn't want so bad; but no matter what he does he can't get her out of his head.
