After the boy had given his life at the age of thirteen in order to seal the Kyuubi no Youko and hence protect his village from total destruction, peace had started to come. Minato Namikaze, deeply affected by the sacrifice of his student, had made every effort to achieve peace so that no one else would have to get hurt. And for a while it looked as if his vision had become true. The Sand and the Rain had become their closest ally whereas the Rock, the Cloud and the Mist remained neutral towards the Leaf. It wasn't perfect but it was good. And during all of that Kakashi greatest wish had become true. He had been finally reunited with his students, his family. But what happens when an enemy rises again? One they had thought of being gone a long time ago? Decisions have to be made, morals have to be betrayed and old wounds have to be opened again. Public Service Announcement: This is the first story idea that I have ever bothered to write down (usually I'm too lazy to do more than just come up with the idea for a story) so the first few chapters are a little lacking in my opinion and title is stupid since I can't name things for the life of me. However, he isn't exactly the type to bluntly state that they don't exist. After all, a world wherein peace is not a word that can easily be understood is a world with a whole lot more mysteries and therefore, also cannot be understood. During a mission in the Land of Iron, Kakashi, Obito, Rin and Minato find themselves crossing paths with a girl no more than two years younger than the three children. Unexpectedly, the bizarre and cruel weather hasn't killed her yet. It is no surprise that this young girl named Setsuko arrives in The Village Hidden in the Leaves with Team Minato and surprises even the Third Hokage with her long black hair, dark blue eyes, a ghostly white-- almost transparent complexion and a kimono of the same color as snow. Of course, no one really believes that Setsuko could actually be what she could be suspected of being: A Yuki-musume. But in a world where mysteries are meant to be kept, how can anyone say that the ethereal races of the yōkai are non-existent? As Rin, Obito and Kakashi teach her about everything there is to know about living in the village, the silver-haired young boy finds himself intrigued by basically everything relating to Setsuko. Although, with all of the fear Setsuko has always bottled up inside of her, it would sound much easier to befriend her than to actually be able to do it.

I was used to all the insults and the villagers hating me. One thing I wasn't used to though, was love. I didn't know a thing about it, what did it feel like? How were you supposed to know you were feeling it? I soon found the answers to my questions when I got taken back into the Hidden Leaf Village and placed on Minato's team. There are some things I learned from him, and things I learned from my teammates. Things I'll never forget. Minato taught me what it's like to have someone who cares for you, someone who would protect you, someone that will love you no matter what you are. Or what you've done.
