Shouta has known for a long time that the world doesn't always work the way it's supposed to. Sometimes, people are born with quirks that take when all they want is to give. Sometimes, the bad guys win and leave worlds in ruin. Sometimes, traveling back in time doesn't give as much hindsight as it should.
Now five years in the past and with a mission to stop the chaos to come, almost nothing is as it's supposed to be. Missions lead to dead ends, friends he watched die are alive again, and most importantly the key to their success, Midoriya Izuku, doesn't have a quirk.
