At the start of his senior year of high school, Dean and his buddies were invited to a college party. He met Lisa and they had a night to remember, or so he thought. After that night he never heard from Lisa again, that was until he received a text from an unknown number: "Hey this might sound really crazy but Lisa is pregnant and it's yours.. She was just rushed to the hospital. She didn't want me to tell you but I thought you deserved to know. If you care about her even a little bit please be there." 
Due to complications after delivery Lisa did not survive. Dean was left with a baby he had only known about for a few hours and he wasn't even sure it was his. After taking a paternity test, it was confirmed that the baby was in fact his. And his name was Ben.
7 years later Dean and Ben are living a happy life just the two of them. 
The story begins and it's time for Ben to start the third grade, more specifically "Meet the teacher" night at his school. Unknowingly, while meeting Bens teacher, Dean is reunited with an old peer from high school, Castiel Novak. Castiel, on the other hand, is reunited with his old high school crush. Maybe it's fate.

He was still awake at the time but he blacked out slowly after. The cops came in a little after. They accused him of doing it. He went to jail for 3 years. Cas doesn't remember anything. He doesn't know who Dean is. Gabriel didn't want him to know anything. Because they think Dean did it and that he just tricked Cas because he is gay. The story goes in after he has been in jail.
