A short story written highlighting the effects of drug abuse through the lens of a self destructive and isolated man. This story was written for a gothic English assignment and follows with a semi gothic style.
Do be warned as it does have darker themes and alludes to drug addiction.
The following is an example of the few times I write creatively and write something I truly adore. This story is a stand alone as I am not currently committed to writing routinely.

A New Year's Kiss (BoyxBoy)
"Happy New Year!!!" It was now or never. I pulled Alex's arm that I was still holding until he crashed into me in surprise. I put a hand behind his head and closed the gap between us until my lips met his. Alex's body had gone stiff with shock, but I just pulled him closer, letting go of his arm, and putting both hands at the side of his face. Suddenly I felt a change in Alex's body and he began kissing me back. I responded immediately, deepening the kiss, feeling my whole body let go knowing I had done it. I was kissing Alex. As the chase narrows he has nothing to loose anymore but rise from his own ashes to get back the life that was his and only his. Trigger warning: abuse, rape, mentions of self harm. It's a BxB story. So if you are not comfortable with explicit sex scenes between two men then I suggest you skip this story. Also this story would not be fluffy and soft on the contrary it may trigger some of you so read with caution.
