The plague is the disease that wiped out the city only some lucky people survived. I fled down the North country side not even giving myself time to catch my breath. I seemed refuge in an old abandoned shed. That night was dark and stormy and the fear that they might find me grew stronger every time I thought about it. "Crack" I jumped thinking they had found me, but it turned out to be a 6 year old boy who had fallen flat on his face in mud. He started to weep as he examined his wound. Seeing he was hurt I took him under my wing. In the next couple of weeks I had trained him to survive. The day they came was like any typical day it started of gathering and then came the noise "shuffle"  the bushes moved around and out came two men dressed in full army uniform, then they spotted me they spoke something over the com " we have got survivors."

"We have to jump!" i screamed at everyone at the top of my lungs, i looked around to find at least 75% of our group either eaten or eating some one else. i knew i was being too slow in making my decisions, but all i could concentrate on was the sound of my heart beating in my chest. i pulled nicol to the floor and away from the zombie that nearly chewed off her head and watched her send a knife into its head with what seemed no effort at all. Then i turned and moved quicker than i have before to stop the zombie that i saw coming for me from the corner of my eye, i stopped dead in my tracks as my heart sank into the bloody stream of my circulation of life. It lives inside the human brain thriving on the empathy receptors, leading to irrational behaviour and ultimately brain death. To slow the damage, scientists created L.O.V.E, short for Living Off Vital Emotions, a nanovaccine that numbs the virus and switches off all strong emotions. As a last resort and with a dying planet, the Supreme Government created the City, a place to contain the infected survivors suitable for the experiment. Those in the first stages of illness became ideal candidates to receive the neuroinhibitor. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages. Oscar will set sail and stop the apocalypse as he encounter deadly creatures and challenging pirates, as he travel through the seas of Coastend, accompanied by his loyal pirate friends and the princess herself.
