Every 10000 years, a celestial event known as the Winter Fires take place to set a new stage for the Earth. The Winter Fires killed the dinosaurs and began the four seasons we know today, eventually it obliterated Earth and through years of reconstruction and effort, Earth has transformed into a new world known as Aerxia, a utopia mankind hopes to achieve unity among men.
However, through the Winter Fires, new species were bred into Aerxia, some even surpassing that of mankind in intellect and physical strength. At the same time, humans have rediscovered magical arts and utilize it for their own personal purposes though eventually Griffikith, a dictative ruler, utilizes his prowess to commit unspeakable acts, beginning a new war of souls.
Now, a new hero called Xergonias emerges and he seeks to locate the roots of his past while encountering the outside warfare after having been safe inside the peaceful city of the Kingdom of Sen for over twenty years. As he discovers his prodigious skills with the blade and magical arts, he embraces his destiny to protect Aerxia from the new Winter Fires that would take place within a matter of time. In the meantime, Griffikith aims to allow his regime to rise to greater heights and take over the world as Aerxians know it with plans of locating the Master of Winter Fires, the 'host' of the celestial event. Having caused chaos to the world and yet somewhat achieving peace and equality, what is Griffikith's intentions and how will his destiny intertwine with Xergonias'?
In the new world of magical arts and dangerous weapons, what will become of Aerxia?
