Freydis Ward has been fighting her entire life. Taken by HYDRA as an infant after her parents' assassination Freydis grew up being trained and experimented on in hopes of being Wolfgang von Strucker's first successful Titan experiment. She is given to James Buchanan Barnes "The Winter Soldier" as a ward to raise as a protegee, training her to be one of the deadliest weapons the world has ever seen. With both her powers and her training as an assassin Freydis would quickly become known as "Winter's Shadow" and by the title given to her by Strucker himself, "The Titan".
She joins the Avengers alongside her adopted family in a desperate attempt to save the world. Join her as she suffers at the hands of her past and as her past tries to assassinate her. Join her as she struggles to find her long lost family, is captured, and as she finds love. Join her for her rollercoaster life as in enhanced individual with the power to save the world.
