Nina Rose, the youngest daughter of Fredrick Rose, who is the president of America, is not the best of moods. Her brother, Patrick, has been shot dead, her older sister, Olga, is out partying in public, embarrassing the family, her mother is a drunk, and her dad, of course, is too busy to pay attention to Nina's sweet sixteenth.
The only person who she feels she can talk to is her maid, Rita Howard, who's the most loyal woman to the Rose family.
One day, things go wrong and there's a body found in the garden. The blame is fixed on the Rose family, and things are going wilder and wilder. Nina escapes only just from trouble to Rita's cottage. Nina meets the kind, handsome and charming brother of Rita, Leonardo, and is instantly charmed by his inner and outer beauty.
