"So what's your type?"

"What do you mean?" I pause, looking up from my book to meet the eyes of my dear friend. "Type of what?"

She shakes her head with a chuckle. Her head then jerks to her boyfriend, busy trying to figure out a solution in his work. "What type of guy do you like?"

"I don't really have one." I reply.

"Come on, there must be something a guy does that catches your attention."
My eyes casually glance around the courtyard, trying to figure out a quick response to her question. But then I hear a voice speak just to the right of us, Professor Abel happily talking to Mr. Levine.

"Well?"

"Older." I mumble. "Someone older."

"Just older?"

His deep grey eyes soften slightly in the sunlight.

"Someone... colder too."

"So you want someone as bad as Professor Abel?" My friend jokes poking my side with her fingers. I snap my head back to her, surprised at her question. To brush off the embarrassment I shrug my shoulders, faking a smile but my heart is pounding furiously.

"Haha, very funny." It's as if our conversation has been leaked when my eyes rest back on the tall individual. The grey swirls are staring right back at me, his colleague oblivious of his wandering eyes. His expression is stern but in the light it seems as though his lips are curled up, making my stomach do a flip.

"My type." I whisper with a small smile.

[Unstable Minds #1] "Has my little girl been drinking?" He asks teasingly, his head tilting to the side as his eyes run over my now tear-stained face. He yells in my face causing me to flinch back, a sob crawling up my throat as more tears fall from my eyes. I nod my head frantically. "Y-yes!" He lifts his hand up, I couldn't help but flinch back when the pad of his thumb came down on my cheek, wiping away the tears that wouldn't stop falling. Mature, fifteen year old Carmen receives an unexpected surprise when she finds out her close friend - tall, grey-eyed, Josh - likes her. Despite the surprise, she can't deny the chemistry between them and so both teens agree to pursue more outside of their friendhsip. As things start off sweet, they turn a little sour as Carmen deals with the fact that Joshua has lots of unresolved emotional issues caused from a painful past. Meanwhile, Carmen is quite the opposite and deals with trust and committment issues. Carmen wants to be there for Josh and help him, but she doesn't know how when she can't even figure herself out. And so a journey of confusion and heartbreak begins... *WARNING* There is some mature language in some parts of the story This isn't a full on happy romance story The storyline may be a little confusing/complicated, but was made like that on purpose Characters and events = a mix of fiction and non-fiction Here are a few snippets... *** I looked at him sideways. "So, um, what are we?" I had to ask. Josh seemed taken aback but still answered casually. "What do you mean? Friends. Like always." I nodded again. Mm-hm. So friends who kissed. Yup, got it. Pretty clearly. "Alright." We headed upstairs to our second floor math class. *** "Yeah, but..." Joshua's voice was suddenly very quiet. It made me feel bad. "Realistically Carmen, we haven't been acting as 'just friends.'" He got louder. "In fact, for the past week or so, I've been considering you to be my girlfriend." He paused. "Is that wrong of me?" I sighed inwardly. "No. It's just, I think-" I searched for my words. "I think we're better off where we started. As two people who like each other and vibe well, but without a title to complicate things." I couldn't figure out whether I was just saying this as an excuse not to be with him. My mind was jumbled. "No title makes things more complicated." *** Enjoy!

[COMPLETE] Genesis Munroe, a virtuoso college freshman has always been the shy type, the good girl, the smart kid who sat in the back of class and practiced classical piano after school. So rooming with a male was something different. She came to college for an experience, a search for something new, but her roommate, James du Bellay doesn't talk directly to her and instead leaves passive-aggressive notes on the door. He puts his stuff on her side of the room, shuts her out of the room, and ignores her. Well, he ignored her until she auditioned for the music team where he was the president. He wanted to deny how good she was, and he didn't care, until he found out he was staring straight at his competition. She had a 5.8 GPA, and she took piano classes for fun, while he took it out of necessity. She was a threat to the palaces he had built at his school and he needed her gone. In the coming day, James finds out that Genesis is in love with his best friend Chad Douglas, a snobbish self-proclaimed alpha male vlogger. So he takes advantage of her obsession. James agrees to teach Genesis how to make Chad fall in love with her, and he gets to watch Chad break her heart so she leaves this school crying (but Genesis doesn't need to know that). He needs her gone. Or he thinks he does. Wait, damn was she always this hot? Is it the short dress he just bought for her, or is it just her? Wait, what was his goal again? Oh right, he needs her gone, pronto. * mature due to cursing and sexual scenes *

I could hear her footsteps running behind me; so I intentionally made long steps. When I stopped and turned around she bumped into my chest and about to fall. Suddenly I urged myself to breakdown her fall. But she closed her eyes and got ready to take the fall; she looked like a baby in fear, it's kind of cute.I grabbed her with my arms around her slimy waist and her little hand too. She fits right into my arms. My heart skipped a bit when she opened her eyes and looked at me. Her eyes went wide when it captured mine. Her eyes sure have some magnetic power. I can't take my eyes away from her. We both are too close; that I could feel her breath. When reality hits I slowly made her stand on her own and moved back. I threw the book at her. She looked at me with confusion. I showed my anger at her for acting like an innocent person. I know the reason for my anger is that she disappointed me when I thought that she was different. But to my surprise the one who left the book at car was Hanna. I can't make myself to say sorry to some idiotic random girl. So just walked back when I suddenly heard someone calling me by my name. "Nicholas" she yelled. I turned around to see the same small girl standing there. How dare she call me by my name? She gave me a grin with her hand folded to her chest. She tries to act like tough girl but it's too cute to watch. So I just stood there. But she went out off limits and questioned me if I like her? Me? Like? Her? No way ! Here comes our protagonist Candice called Candy - Chatter box but cute and friendly to everyone. No one could hate her except Nick. Nicholas called Nick- Handsome but arrogant, college senior who thinks the earth revolve around him. How do these two opposite poles have them attracted????

"You turn me on," the words slipped out again. A smile invaded her plump lips. "I know I do." I leaned in to kiss her, and she kissed me back. My lips claimed hers as my tongue slipped between them. A slight moan slid out of her. I pulled her closer to me and took her to the bed, only breaking the kiss for a moment. I slid my hand against her ass and she responded by deepening the kiss. My hand climbed up her inner thigh until I reached her panties. I looked into her brown eyes. My eyebrows raised, asking a silent question. She quickly nodded. ***SHORT DESCRIPTION BELOW*** 𝑩𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑴𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝑻𝒓𝒊𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒚. 𝑨 𝑯𝒐𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒚/𝑴𝒂𝒇𝒊𝒂 𝑹𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 18-year-old Ebonie James is ready for college, but is scared at the same time.
