It can be scary sometimes... The mixture of anticipation and fear when you first step into a tattoo shop. The smell of fresh ink and disinfectant. The constant humming of the machines from behind locked doors or modular walls to shield the customers from prying eyes. Having to face the commitment of consensually letting someone hurt your body to leave a lifelong mark on your skin.

However... once the first sting and the first flinch are forgotten all there is left, is anticipation. What's to come, what it's going to look like?
