A Destiny 2 fanfiction. Part 1: New Light. When the Traveler arrived, a spherical deity with paracausal powers known as the Light, humanity prospered and thrived. Their lifespans tripled and they expanded their civilization amongst the stars and to other planets. This was known as the Golden Age until an ancient evil known as the Darkness that hunted the Traveler finally found it in our solar system. This story is told from a Ghost's point of view who's Guardian is a trigger happy Hunter. Her Light is strong but her soul defiant. Forged in the Light yet desired by the Darkness. But when she comes face to face with her destiny, will she make the right choice or be swallowed by fate?
