EVERLASTING LOVE

Some stories are not meant to be.
Like some lovers are like tangents. They meet once to be separated for a lifetime. Some are like asymptote. They get closer to each other but still cannot get together. But there are some like parallel lines. They are never meant to be together.
Jay is a protector. He was born to protect his king. His life had no other meaning. He had no other emotions. He was born three times. His life had to start when his king was born. He waited for his king's reincarnation for centuries and when his king was finally born, he had to start his life again, as a shadow to the king. His only job- Protect the king.

Maya is the temple guardian who was finally able to form a human body. She overlooked the kingdom her entire life and protected her people. But now, her kingdom was gone, and her king was reincarnated. Her promise was fulfilled and she finally had her own life.

Maya and Jay met once and then got separated by their fates. They again tried to meet each other but they never could. And now they were on very different paths, destined to never meet but they met.
But will their fate rearrange and separate them again or they change their lifeline?
