Jack Kelly knows that life at Pulitzers School of Fine Arts for Troubled Youth stinks. He desperately wants to get away and live his own life, stand on his own two feet. He wants to go to Santa Fe. Now, that vision is becoming more of a fantasy when he finds that his adopted brother, Crutchies had an accident and worsened his already bad leg and will need at least a year to heal. While Crutchie heals, a new challenge comes along in the form of an intriguing boy named David. Jack still wants to go, but a small part of him is begging him to stay.
David Jacobs isn't happy with leaving his normal life in Woodside, but with his father laid up with a torn ACL and broken femur, he's got no choice but to find a way to support himself and his family. And the school offers job opportunities for teens. So off he goes. He is nervous and excited about leaving for school and meeting new people. Race has fallen head over heels for the buff (NOT SHORT) boy. But does Spot feel the same way?
Spot Conlons is none too pleased about being put on the exchange list, and meeting his new annoying roommate is doing nothing to change his mind. He is NOT happy that he ✨𝙷𝚊𝚜✨ to cuddle up next to the taller boy (New York nights get cold don't judge)
And he cannot stand that he is completely and totally in love with Racetrack Higgins. But he wouldn't feel the same way. Would he
