Finding my Santa Fe

Jack Kelly knows that life at Pulitzers School of Fine Arts for Troubled Youth stinks. He desperately wants to get away and live his own life, stand on his own two feet. He wants to go to Santa Fe. Now, that vision is becoming more of a fantasy when he finds that his adopted brother, Crutchies had an accident and worsened his already bad leg and will need at least a year to heal. While Crutchie heals, a new challenge comes along in the form of an intriguing boy named David. Jack still wants to go, but a small part of him is begging him to stay.

David Jacobs isn't happy with leaving his normal life in Woodside, but with his father laid up with a torn ACL and broken femur, he's got no choice but to find a way to support himself and his family. And the school offers job opportunities for teens. So off he goes. He is nervous and excited about leaving for school and meeting new people. Although he wasn't exactly sure what he was expecting, a tall, handsome, and sarcastic roommate was not. David doesn't know this funny feeling inside of him means and what living in such close quarters will do for it.

Anthony "Racetrack" Higgins is known for his complete lack of respect for authority and quick tongue. This time he's taken it too far and landed himself on the exchange student list and will have to spend two weeks in Brooklyn. Before he got there, Race was a bit intimidated by the Brooklyn boys, but after meeting his roommate Spot Conlons, he might change his mind about the whole situation. Race has fallen head over heels for the buff (NOT SHORT) boy. But does Spot feel the same way?
