y/n is a transfer student from America. her father works in a large company and must go on many business trips, therefore leading to her family moving to several different countries over the years. Those years where she kept constantly moving place to place, she was slowly losing her sanity from trying to keep patience as she had to repeat the process over and over again. Distancing herself from her parents and the ones around her, she learned to be alone. All she needed was herself, so why was she so invested in finding out the name of the boy who helped her?
This story contains serious topics such as blood, violence, gore, anxiety attacks, mental breakdowns, depression, sleep paralysis, and self-harm. If these make you uncomfortable, please do read on caution. There will be no lemon, but I will include fluff for comfort. I hope you like the story!
I do not own Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. The creator is Hirohiko Araki. same for the characters in this this story. I have only created several minor characters for the context of the story.
Also many of the chapters will be very long so just beware of that before reading.
This is the rewrite of Love Like You. PLEASE NOTE: Rohan is aged up in this fic.
The mangaka looked down at the girl, finding her staring at him. Her distance was kept, clear that she still didn't quite trust him. That was understandable; Rohan was even surprised that she wasn't having a meltdown. It must be traumatizing for the nine-year-old to be separated from her mother and dumped off to a complete stranger.
But Rohan was going to show her that everything will be alright.
Just like before, Rohan knelt to her height and held out his hand. (Y/n) hesitated once again, but this time, she fully accepted his offer, putting her tiny hand into the palm of his. A little bit of the tension that (Y/n)'s body and mind held vanished, thanks to Rohan's touch. It was warm; soft; and most importantly, safe.
"Come on, I'll take good care of you. I promise."
