Conforming to the standard adult life that everyone seems to live seems terrifying to her, so she shuts herself off in her room to avoid the inevitable. But freedom awaits in the small beach town where her mother grew up. It's the only place she's ever felt worry-free, and the only place she's ever felt something she's never felt before: Love.
