She closed her ears tight and hid under the now broken table to save her from bullets as the guy beside her was more involved in loading bullets than saving her crying ass. "WTF ARE U DOING!" she shouted at him seeing him having the biggest shotgun she had ever seen ever even in movies.
she again closed eyes screamed when bullets from opposite side of cafe were shot rapidly as he ran and take cover beside her behind that broken but good shield typa table.
He chuckled seeing her expression, she opened her eyes and looked at him like he gone mad with tears streaming down...his deep velvet like voice hitting her ears "are you scared lil one?" as he loaded shot gun in his hand in crouching position beside her and he took a hand grenade from his pant pocket which made her eyes widen in shock seeing the man carrying grenades around.
she gulped and looked at him as he threw the safety pin away and threw that grenade to the opposite side of cafe , she didnt have enough time to register what was happening before she knew half of the cafe blew up..she again shouted in shrill voice.
she opened her eyes when she hear him chuckle..she saw him standing up and shotgun ready in his hands..he looked down at her and said "things are going to turn dirty lil one" as he spin and shot the man at opposite end of cafe.

I look around for a route of escape and thankfully I see a light, literally, at the end of the second tunnel. I let out a small, almost inaudible, gasp and nudge Joey. He looks at me and I subtly gesture with my head to the second tunnel. He glances at it and immediately we are on the same page. His jaw sets and he looks at the group.
