The Sorrows of Yoruko

Yoruko is a teenage girl from Japan who relocated from its capital city, Tokyo, to another capital city in Western Europe, Amsterdam in the Netherlands. She became a member of the Misfits, a group of individuals who share her desire for freedom and acceptance, away from rules and conflicts. However, she is haunted by overwhelming emotions, remorse and guilt from her past, and resorts to extreme actions that are incongruent with her fragile impression.
