Ranpo Edogawa, everyone knows that name. He was one of the most popular singers of all of Yokohama. He produced My Ordinary Life (IRL made by living Tombstones), and Genius (IRL made by Sia, Diplo, LSD, Labyrinth) as a collaboration with Yosano, an incredibly talented pop star rising in the ranks. Both songs are ranked top 10 in their respected genre of music.
Edgar Allen Poe was a small time artist who sang at The Guild, a popular bar. Everyone in that area knew his name. He was known for his poetic songs with many different meanings. He had a very unique voice, one with so much emotion a dog would know the sorrows behind his words.
After a long practice, Ranpo was invited by his friend Dazai, to hit up the most popular bar in town as a celebration for his new hit single. He wasn't much of a drinker, but he he was told that they sold sweet smoothies there, so why not go. He wasn't expecting to meet one of the most important people in his life there.

This is a high school au (no powers) "What was that? You should really speak up ya know" Ranpo says a bit annoyed, looking in his bag and pulling out a hard candy to throw in his mouth. "Uh- yes sorry- I said how about a mystery novel" Poe repeats louder, flustered and a tad embarrassed. "A mystery novel huh? That's a great idea!" Ranpo says happily, clapping his hands. "Now tell me, what exactly do you have in mind?" Ranpo asks, adjusting his glasses as he looks at his screen. Ranpo is the top of his class and Poe looks up to him but also dislikes him because he views it as some sort of rivalry. Meanwhile Ranpo hardly realizes that Poe exists. In writers class, Dazai gets to selects pairs to work on making a book together. The novel is set at a cold setting in a hotel, where multiple murders take place. Some are just injured; some are fully dead. Some are random people; some are part of the two organisations. One is the murderer, and they're smart. Akutagawa didn't know what to do. Atsushi only wants one thing to happen.
