This is a remake of my story "Kimiko's Story" but set in the universe of another one of my stories "Letters From The Past".
What if Kimiko's mother, Tsume Inuzuka, was swapped with an imposter and actually loved Kimiko? What if the Akatsuki somehow were given a second chance at life and came back?
Notes: All of the plotlines from LFTP still apply here, as well as the beginning of the canon Boruto anime timeline (with deviations). I DO NOT OWN NARUTO, NARUTO SHIPPUDEN, OR BORUTO! Any OC characters (such as Kimiko and Rosalie) are owned by me.

World Switch
Nekosaki never knew her parents. She knew herself as an orphan in the real world with her siblings being her best friends Cheshire and Kura. Cheshire was a stoic redhead with a pension for being bluntly honest and Kura was a black haired flurry of actions that loved training in various styles of martial arts. The three had known each other since they were teens, and though Nekosaki couldn't remember her past before then, she felt she had known the two for a much longer time. Enter dimensional travel and here appear the Akatsuki in cat form before the three. Nekosaki had read countless fanfics where the Akatsuki came to the real world through means such as the scenario she faced now before, but she never thought it could actually happen. Enter action, comedy, and maybe a little romance into the once ordinary existence of Nekosaki, and secrets that come to light she never thought could be possible. Warning and Disclaimer: I do not own any Naruto characters but I do own my characters and the plot of the story. In this book will be spoilers who aren't very far in Naruto Shippuden. There is cussing in this story so if you don't like it I wanted to tell you. Also, there are themes in this book for only mature readers and there will be a warning in the chapter/chapters. Edit: I'm starting a rewrite, the plot will remain the same but I'm reviewing each chapter and updating them as I go, the result may be longer chapters, but again, the plot and development will remain the same . 'Screams. Fire. Buildings destroyed. People running to find shelter. "Momma!" A little girl, with chocolate skin, black and thick curly hair, and bright blue eyes. Eyes so bright, looks like it can see a soul. "Papa!" the little girl said with tears in her eyes. "Princess Akari!", the little girl turned to see who called for her. Akari turned and ran to a man with olive skin, short straight red hair and brown eyes. "Uncle, what is going on? Where's momma, papa, my little sisters and younger brother?" The young uncle went down on one of his knees and held eye contact with Akari with one hand on her shoulder. "Princess Akari, I'm sorry but your family is gone." While looking at young Akari, the young uncle thought she was about to cry but he was wrong. Intense killing intent was coming from her. Akari looking down with her hands clenched tightly. "Do you think I'm that stupid?" Akari said darkly. Shock, the young uncle quickly stands up and moved away from Akari. "Where is my real uncle?" Akari with her blue eyes shining brightly than ever. Mostly glowing. Walking closer to the imposter, "Princess, it's me, uncle Dachi!" "No, my uncle never calls me princess. Now tell me! What is going on?" Akari releasing more killing intent, scaring the now uncle imposter. Before the imposter could say anything, a voice behind her spoke up. "That's enough brat." Quickly turning around, Akari stand face to face with her uncle. Akari realized that what is going around, her uncle does not seem to be faze by it. "What did you do uncle?" She questioned. "Something I should have done before you were born." With that, Dachi ran with a sword ready to chop Akari head off. Akari extended her hand and a blue purple light pushed her uncle away.' Ayumu woke up with a start. 'That is a scary dream. I wonder what that was about.' This story will start in the Leaf Village. I do not own Naruto and all of the Naruto's characters mention.
