After this success Giovanni declared the Viridian Empire and began a military build up to take over the rest of the world. The first phase of the plan was in motion, the plan to capture the Legendary Pokemon Mew. However the plan didn't go as plan and Mew blasted Team Rocket and their empire to a new world. I own neither Pokémon or Scooby-Doo, this is just a neat little crossover adaptation to celebrate the recent 18th anniversary of the movie this story adapts
