She finds herself in New Orleans, bumping into a man at a small bar he is hot-headed however after he looks at her, he becomes sweet to her she can't explain it.

Niklaus was a hot-headed hybrid after breaking his curse, he took off to New Orleans upset because he loved Caroline however, she chose Tyler over him, and he couldn't stand the look at them happy together. He runs into a small shy lady at a bar looking at her and his whole world flipped. He was supposed to be a villain, right?
