Matteo Soares needs to escape his usual life of flashing cameras and overbearing managers for a little while. So, what better way of escape than moving to the quaint little town of Rye, West Essex. where his son and the mother of his child are. There, he meets the charming bookshop owner, Aurelie Langford; who like the town is equal parts mysterious and welcoming. He can't help but want to be close to her. Soon, he'll have to return to his glamorous but exhausting everyday life, but until then Aurelia promises to show him all Rye has to offer in way of changing someone's life for the better. Matteo can't resist falling for the quaint town and his beautiful brunette tour guide, but can they stay together or will fame and age get in the way.
