The stories all say the Devil was once an angel among angels, soaring with the rest and bowing to the one and only God, when he was suddenly cast down for committing a terrible sin, therefore becoming the Devil everyone in Inkwell Isles knows so well. But what if the stories are a lie?

One day, the Devil himself ventured into the Overworld in search of his beloved pitchfork, and surprise flew across his face when it was returned by a young blind girl who had mistaken it for her walking stick.

That day would be forever recorded in history as the day the Devil's soul ascended beyond the shadows and back into the light, as it been begging to do for billions of years.
