Victoria, she's gotten used to that name. It was hundreds of years since her real name's been used, and considering how she left home, it wasn't surprising. She'd more or lessed come to peace with her past, she'd recently left her life as an assasin for hire and was working in an elite taskforce of 'harmless' looking teenagers. Only, like her, they all had their dark pasts and thier abilities. Life was finally settling down, friends and a safe home was an added comfort she hadn't had in a while. It was near perfect. Until her previous life found her. Then nothing was perfect, and it probably never would be again.

Victoria's Secret

31 parts Complete Mature

A teen with cancer for the third time hides her secret but stumbles into a bigger secret of werewolves at her new school. My name is Victoria and I'm 16 and I have a secret. I'm dying. I have cancer for the third time and the doctors haven't given me much hope for beating it again. My mom and I moved to the country to try and easy some of my symptoms. I have decided I'm going to have as normal life as I can for as long as I can so I will start a new school and make new friends. I plan on keeping my secret from everyone I can. After dropping Victoria off at her house, I quickly drove my car home and jumped out quickly stripping and shifting in mid air to run back to her house. After arriving I laid down under the big old oak tree facing her Livingroom window and watched as her mom hooked her up to something. I knew there was something wrong with my mate, but being a shifter and normal human maladies didn't affect us so I couldn't quite put my finger on it. She had the sweet vanilla cinnamon smell that let me know she was my mate, but underneath there was a strange smell I had never smelled.
