This poem is about the effects of both sides of the breakup. It is also talking about how sometimes when you break up you catch yourself saying things that the other person would say and it brings you back to all the moments in your past relationship. It then talks about how sometimes we have self hate for saying things that they did or doing things they did because you hate them and then you have self hatred for your personality now and how rough of a place it can be. This is about how I felt about a relationship I used to be in.
