Hope Calormen, an ordinary teenage girl going into her senior year of high school, becomes the center of a conflict that grows to be much, much bigger than she ever could have imagined.

This story blends genres and ideas liberally- I've never read anything like it, but I would love to if I could find something. It's a mix of teen contemporary, modern warfare, epic sci fi, and some epic fantasy.
