"Do you take Isa heap as your beloved wife, Austin Moore?" said the pastor, making Austin smile with love and admiration.
"Yes, I do," he said with a dreamy smile.
"Do you, Isa heap, accept Austin Moore as your loving man?" It was time for Isa to reply, which made her nervous.
"Y..yes, I do," she said softly.
"With all of power I have now, I unveil you as man and wife as you can kiss the bride," the man said softly.
Austin drew Isa closer with delight after swapping rings. Why won't, he join hands with his happily ever after whom he has treasured for about 2 years?
Even so, once the man excluded the veil, his hand struck in the air. He stood there dumbfounded, as if someone had sucked the words from his mouth except one word.
"Layla".

Seeing her come near, Sir Steven felt confused. He unintentionally stepped back and found himself bumping into the counter behind him. Eva couldn't help but grin, feeling some of the tension dissipate. Sir Steven joined in with a small chuckle. 'Have you had dinner?' Eva asked again, stopping in front of him. 'Yeah, I had dinner with my Professor.' Sir Steven replied in a soft voice, his eyes locked onto hers. 'Eva I' he started to say again when Eva moved closer to him and putting a finger on his lips gently, said, 'Shh. Don't say anything.' Sir Steven was left in a state of amazement, his heart pounding in his chest. He remembered the time he had confessed his feelings to Eva and gazed into her captivating eyes. He had said the same thing then. Her finger on his lips was enough to make his heart beat uncontrollably. 'I realized today, that I never responded to you when you told me about your feelings.' Eva said in a low voice to avoid waking anyone up. The lights in the kitchen were dim already, as Sir Steven had not turned on any extra light. Removing her finger from his lips, Eva placed her hands on the countertop behind Sir Steven. Standing on the tips of her toes, she leaned closer to his ear, and confessed, 'I love you too, Steven.' Sir Steven felt a jolt of electricity surge through him at her words. It was the first time Eva had taken his name, and it made his heart race. His breath quickened as he processed the powerful confession. As Eva began to straighten up, Sir Steven couldn't resist the overwhelming surge of emotion. He swiftly placed his hand on her back and gently pulled her back towards him. With his other hand, he tenderly grasped the nape of her neck and drew her closer, their lips meeting in a fervent kiss.

WARNING: This book deals with a highly controversial subject matter. Reader discretion is advised. I fell in love with someone dark, twisted and evil. The sick part is... I can't stop. I had no idea that the man I fell in love with was a monster. I had no idea he was a psycho. There's a lot of sick people in this world, Evie. Believe me, I know." His words have tainted all of my memories. The warnings he gave me have each left a scar. He told me he was evil. He told me he was a monster. I didn't believe him. Instead, I fell in love. "Tell me why you killed them?" "Because they weren't you." He answers simply, gazing at me intently. "I couldn't have you... so I killed them." "My God..." I whisper, scrambling away from him in fear. "You can't tell anyone." He growls, chasing after me in desperation. "They'll tear us apart and lock me away forever." "Isn't that what you deserve?!" I cry, covering my face with my hands. "I deserve you." He whispers, prising my hands away from me. "And I've made a vow to keep you." "Even if it's against my will?" I sob, weeping violently. "I don't want that." He murmurs, raking his fingers through his hair as he begins to lose control. "But I will if I have to." He places a kiss against my forehead and my breathing slows down. His touch calms me and I despise myself for it, torn between scratching his eyes out and asking him to save me. Prepare yourself for a dark, addictive, gruelling and twisted story. Sir Eric takes a deep breath and mutters as his demeanor radiates confidence. He knew that what he was about to say would change everything. He took a sip of the wine presented to him and continued, "As agreed several years ago, your daughter will be sent to my son's mansion in a week for the marriage alliance between our families. But here's the catch - I want the wedding to be held in just a few days!" The room fell silent as everyone absorbed Sir Eric's words. As they were both taken aback, but Sir Eric stood up nonchalantly, as though he hadn't just made a shocking announcement. His guard gave them a slight nod before departing with him, leaving them to grapple with the weight of his words. After his departure Thomas' wife glares at her husband, putting her hands on her waist on her hips in a disapproving manner, and speaks "It is with great concern that I express my disapproval of my daughter marrying him, Thomas. While it may seem natural for them to pair her up with their first son, Alex, might I remind you that my daughter's happiness comes first? If they wish to consider a union, I would be willing to entertain the idea if it were their legitimate child Andrew from the woman he married. However, it cannot be Alex, a child born to a waitress." Thomas shakes his head in disbelief, raising his hands in surrender. He states, "Lisa, I'm disappointed in you. It's not right to judge people based on their background. Their circumstances do not define their worth as human beings. Moreover, it's not your place to question how they ended up where they are now. You knew this day would come, didn't you?" She dismissively shrugs, like it's nothing, still insisting "I really won't let my daughter marry a bastard son Thomas" Turning towards a silhouette behind her, she smiles in triumph while suggesting, "Let your late brother's child marry him instead. Maya is still a part of our family," she declares with a triumphant smile.

Picking Up a Useless Man in a Suit

7 parts Ongoing

Ms. Afra, the gravekeeper in Changping District, came home from the night shift and picked up a man on the side of the road. White shirt, suit, scarred. With broad shoulders and a thin waist, big breasts and perky butt, he is extraordinarily handsome. The traffic around the cemetery is inconvenient and it is too far from the urban hospital. Afra, who has a beautiful face, was so obsessed that she picked up the man in the suit and took him home. The next day, Afra yawned and opened the door to see a man in a suit with a bandage on his arm and an apron making breakfast for her. The thin and strong waist was covered with scars, band-aids, bruises, and marks from her pinches mixed together. Afra crossed her arms and chased people away: "You haven't left yet?" He said: "Miss Afra, we have been in the same bed." She asked casually, "How much does it cost?" " He was extremely solemn: "According to my family's family motto, I must marry you." Afra: "...Huh?" One day later, Miss Afra touched his abdominal muscles and lamented that her job of guarding the tomb was too bizarre, how could she casually pick up a pure and unpretentious male vixen. He was having a fever, so he held her hand and wrapped it around her: "Honey, I want to kiss you." But he is very virtuous in washing and cooking.
