Her (GxG)

I lit my last cigarette and shifted the gear into first. As the car stared picking up some speed I opened the window letting out the smoke, feeing the damp and sticky air of the summer night. This air had a heavy flow to it, it was almost sickening, although I knew it wasn't the air really that was making me feel like this, it was the atmosphere of summer evening like this in general.

Sydney, now 28 years old is driving on her way to her best friend Cassie's wedding to a man. Alone with her own thoughts throughout the whole of the journey, she allows herself to reminisce and reflect about that one summer of a secret love affair between then 18 year old girls.

Though vivid description and introspective reflection, this story sets stage to a secret and passionate love affair between these two characters.

Note: This story portrays a flashback narrative throughout it's entirety, thus the sole focus of it will be on then 18 year old girls.
