Jamie is back in the prison/mental hospital. He's admitted to another murder, making this his 8th in just two years. His fourth visit to this hospital/prison though is different now. The judge has decided his fate, juvenile. The Acadiana Center of Youth, Louisiana greets him with open arms as he's dragged all the way from Michigan. Jamie finds himself being beaten worse inside of the prison walls then in his old family home as inmates and prison guards show him that the real world isn't all just a "time out". As Jamie meets new inmates who agree to rather not ruff him up, Jamie turns to their interesting ways of murder and crime. When the time comes where a prison break happens and his life is on the line, Jamie chooses to run from his murderers instead of join them and be used as bait.

He knows everything about her, the reason she became human, the two powers she could have, the truth of how her father died. He begins to protect her life with his own.
