Magnus Bane was shattered after he was dismissed from the High Warlock's post. Being the High Warlock meant everything to him. His usual charming self slowly starts to diminish. Alec notices his sudden change of behavior and tries to console Magnus. He takes Magnus out for a sweet and lovely date night.
Let's just say that the sweet date doesn't go as it was planned.

Author's Note-
This short story is inspired by the date planned by Alec in episode 17 of Season 3. Except in this oneshot, Magnus doesn't lose his magic, and Alec doesn't plan to propose Magnus.
This is my first ever published oneshot. Please ignore my spelling and grammatical errors as English is not my first language.

However, the only price Alec want is to marry her, to prove a point that he is not in love with Jace. Of course, as a friend of Lydia, Magnus won't let such illogical thing ruin Lydia. Alas, the story of Malec starts with a point to prove that Alec is not in love with Jace and ends with the process to prove how much Alec loves Magnus. "I told you i have no feelings towards Jace !" Alec throw his fist to magnus's jaw. Magnus spits some blood and then look straight at Alec in the eyes. "Lydia is my friend, in court, in life, one of my best client and prosecutor. I'm not going to let you steal her freedom. You said you don't love Jace ? Fine. Prove it, Alexander." Magnus leans in.
