Morgan Branning is taking the world by storm. 2 years into her public career and she's hitting targets people who have been doing this for years have only just been able to do. Theo Wright has been working his arse off for more than 6 years. Practically without a break, it has been a constant barrage of writing, production, touring, interviews and awards shows. After a disappointing year, Theo is left a shell of the man he once was. Lost and uninspired making his minimum requirements in the public eye whilst he works in the background, continuing to chase his dream quietly.
After a chance encounter between two strangers pull Morgan and Theo into each others lives, things seem to take a bizarre turn for them both as they realise maybe things aren't what they look like on the surface after all.
With a lot of skeletons in her closet to hide, Morgan builds her defences a little higher, sticking to her rules and doing her best to keep a level head. But with Theo, things are never as simple as that. And he can see right through her mastered fake smile even if her best friends can't.
