Research sounds scary, believe me, I thought so too in the months leading up to Semester 5, the first semester as Year 3 pharmacy student. It may be even scarier when you have no clue what will happen and what you need to do to prepare for it.

I was lucky, I had seniors who gave me valuable pointers and tips that helped me be more prepared when I began this journey one year ago. Some people I knew had no one, so they looked to me for the words of wisdom I received from those who finished what we now must do.

So, this is for those who need or want guidance from a senior. A senior who is still learning, still making mistakes and learning from them, still afraid of each challenge that lies ahead but must overcome nonetheless, who still learns something new every day.All Rights Reserved

That was all I needed to hear, and I was thrilled. Without making noise, I danced around my room and repeatedly thanked him. Later that night, after the usual abuse, I silently packed my things when she was passed out. I hurried in doing it, and stored them at the back of my closet so she couldn't see them when she checked up on me. You're doing it, Sammy. You're finally getting out of here; away from all the bitchy girls, your mom, and old memories with Fletcher. I'm proud of you, girl...
