One such resolutor was Lorian Ashwood, who had obtained a particularly powerful resolite after his home village was destroyed by a mysterious ray of light coming from the sky, destroying everything in its path, including the soldiers from both empires fighting to capture his village. Nobody, not even the powerful empires, knew who was behind it. With no home to return to and no answer to the truth behind it, Lorian was forced to wander the world while the empires actively attempted to capture him. Through luck and circumstance, he encountered many people trying to make a living in this fractured world, either by opposing it or capitalising on it.
