After the war, humanity established the Human-Alien Defense Force (HADF), with the main goal of ensuring the safety of planets and their inhabitants. When my brother graduated from school, he joined the HADF as an officer. He mentioned that his primary objective was to ensure safety and security.
I was different from others, not with superpowers, but with exceptional intelligence. I could solve any problem, learn any language, even ancient ones, and build anything just by looking at it once.
I would be valuable to the HADF if they knew about me, but my brother prefers to keep me hidden, and I like it that way. I've only helped him a few times when he asked for it.
My parents never understood me. When my brother became an officer, they grew distant and eventually left. My brother took care of me and stopped searching for our parents.
