The Accord of Strangers

Every summer, Dulce Flores returns to her hometown to spend time with her sister and nephew. This has been the norm since she moved with her father to California when she was eight. Her senior year was no exception; it wasn't supposed to be. She was supposed to graduate in Cali, fly up to Washington in the summer, and go on a graduation vacation with her sister. Her plans were derailed when she received a call during winter break that her sister, Lucía, had suddenly passed. Now instead of visiting her strange hometown during the summer, she visits in the cold winter.
Now determined to figure out more about her sister's mysterious death, Dulce wanders through the weird touristy town called Moonlight Springs she once called home. Dulce thought she knew everything about her sister and nephew until a strange boy appeared at her front door, claiming to be the uncle of her nephew, Helios. Her world is turned upside down when she finds out about her sister's secret double life, and the more Dulce discovers, the more she puts herself in danger along with her nephew.
