It was the summer of Percy's nineteenth birthday, and things had changed greatly at Camp Half-Blood in the wake of the war with Gaea and the awakening of the Roman Emperors. The trauma they'd all endured had lead to Jason and Piper parting ways, followed not too soon after by Percy and Annabeth. 
Over the summer, the two boys started to spend a lot more time with each other. Both of them slowly realizing that there was something blossoming there that neither of them were prepared for.
But the arrival of a new demigod at Camp Half-Blood threatens to upend the new-found peace and leaves one of the demigods in a very harrowing situation.
