The butterfly effect in chaos theory refers to an example in which the fluttering of the wings of a butterfly in one part of the world is seen to contribute to the causation of a tornado in another.

Maya and Carina didn't think that one sigle second could change their entire existance, but when a butterfly starts to flutter her wings, they discover what it means to live the butterfly effect.
