The Perfect World
Three weeks after the events of the Hybrid Experiment, Nathan and Voltflare had only just begun to settle down to have a normal life when Voltflare begins to become afflicted with numerous dizzy spells and visions of an ominous "void-world." Soon after, a mysterious television newscast begins blaring from the room adjacent to Nathan's apartment, informing the two of a doctor in Sinnoh that could potentially help cure this problem. One in particular, a shy, quiet Vaporeon, with a similar past, latched onto him, and the two began to grow close, slowly uncovering each other's secrets and breaking each other out of their reclusive shells. Will the brutality of the real world tear them apart, or will their relationship be able to flourish, rising above the harshness of the reality? This is a story written after being inspired by many others. With no intention to copy from other stories, this intricate world has been created for a sweet, adventure-filled, action-packed story, with a touch of romance, exploring the difficulties of life on the run and touching on a multitude of themes. Pokémon walk and move as they normally would, with the exception of some quadrupeds preferring to move as bipedal. The cover art is done by myself! It's not great, but I wanted to at least do something cute and original for my story! Last but not least, interactions are greatly appreciated. I love reading insightful comments and interacting with the people who enjoy my story, or even getting feedback, as I'm very new to this and somewhat self conscious about it, but I aim to grow with time.
