The outbreak hit Georgia like a bomb, with the people being its collateral damage. Almost all of the population wiped out, whilst some survivors left like stray dogs to scavenge their way through the ruins of the earth. Strangely, this corrupted world brings these people together. People from completely different backgrounds, and somehow no matter what the apocalypse throws at them, they come out the other side even stronger. However, as much as the world builds relationships, it also destroys them. The new world isn't easy for anyone to adjust to, but for Julia Monroe it becomes second nature and suddenly the life she left behind comes tumbling back and she finds herself immersed in to old habits that she thought she'd long distanced herself from. Old habits never die. The outbreak puts everyone to the test and pushes them to their limits. Not only does it wreak havoc upon these individuals but it also has a prolonged impact upon them, permanently scarring their souls in many different ways. ❝Lord, I recognize you're really making things hard for me right now. And I just want you to know that I know there is a good and valid reason that you are doing so. I just have one thing to ask of you. Make it all worth it.❞ Her faith had always been strong, but little by little it diminished every minute she spent in this loop hole of death and grief. As Julia grows closer to the people she starts to call family, God punishes her even harder. Will she give up and surrender or show her all-loving Lord that she is worthy of his forgiveness? All Rights Reserved
