"I promise never to hurt you Lia"

--

Charles fell for Malia the first second he saw her. She was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen and her laugh seemed to make the entire world light up. Her eyes were in a perfect shade of green. The same color of his favorite vegetable, olives, and her dark-blonde hair was always flowing perfectly in the wind while the sun shone on her already silky smooth tanned skin.

His heart is split into a thousand pieces when he hears that she is dating 7 time World Champion, Lewis Hamilton. Why is she with him? He doesn't deserve her. The only one that should be having his arm around her is Charles.

His jealousy grows inside of him as Malia starts to ignore him. Why is she doing that? Did Lewis make her do that? Their relationship didn't seem healthy and Charles just knew that there was something off from the start.

Will Malia see it too? Will she leave Lewis for the one she actually wants? Will Charles get his beloved little olive?

"You're dead to me, Charles," she gasped. "You promised, Mar!" he yelled after her. She came to a halt. Without a second glance, she replied, "And I've kept mine for way too long." -------- They had been classmates, acquaintances, best friends and starcrossed lovers before the spiral went back to the start and ended with Margot's one-sided love. And whenever Charles needed her, she was there. A simple snap of his fingers (and a drunk dial) was enough to summon her to follow him to the race in Japan when he asked for her help. However, when she arrives at the track, Charles can't remember anything of what he had said on the phone in that fateful night after his race win in Australia, and Margot had already tied the rest of her annual, paid leave to his race calender for a whole month. That is when she finds herself in a new environment, surrounded by strangers, with her crushed hopes to finally have her feelings requited, and the prospect of a month full of an aching heart and the unwanted proximity to a man who had just brushed her off like an obnoxious fly. ❗content warning: strong language, mature scenes, death, panic attacks [UPDATED WEEKLY] ⚠️ This is a work of fiction!
